Saturday, November 12th was a special occasion that was planned and carried out by the Men’s Ministry for our Single Senior Saints at Berry’s Chapel, and the friends they invited. The luncheon that was provided was a way of saying thank you for their commitment to the Lord over a long period of time and the continuing service through work and example that is placed before the congregation.

Many thanks go to Dave Rutledge for the creativity in planning the event, coordinating the meal preparation through Mark Dupay, securing drivers for meeting transportation needs, and training the waiters to not only serve the food but also provide well-received entertainment.

It was truly a time of fellowship that reminds our Single Seniors that they are important. James 2:20 reminds us "that faith without works is dead."
